The Beat Down Show - Episode Two

C-Note and Peter Graves discover enlightenment.
Somehow they let us do another one! Episode 2 of The Beat Down Show finds us discussing the sale of the local fishwrap, the San Diego Union-Tribune, and what it means for local news coverage. San Diego's new bike-sharing program comes under fire and we have a very thoughtful Chargers stadium update. There's a new team entering the San Diego sporting landscape that we're excited about. On the local music scene, Peter Graves joins us for a very insightful and poignant interview to discuss his local bands and the other hats he wears around town. Don't miss our craft beer segment, our discussion on abolishing restaurant tipping, and of course, this week's Beat Down List (hint: Orange County won't like this one).

Cornelious with CityBeat music editor Jeff Terich.
We launch our inaugural episode with talk about the Chargers stadium mess, the inconsistent Padres, and the drought. We interview San Diego CityBeat music editor Jeff Terich about the local scene. J-Dub reviews a classic film, we give some restaurant etiquette, as well as a craft beer review. We announce our signature piece, The Beat Down List.
